2001 Dunlop ASWMC Sealed Surface Championship,
Driver 4th O/A Talbot Sunbeam 1.4 K-Series
After 2 years out of the driving seat
Rob
Richards and Team Kenny return with a new car.
After the successes of 2001 and a 2nd in class on the Regency Stages Rally of 2002. Rob decided that the Bright Orange Sunbeam needed attention.
The plan was to re-shell it and upgrade the engine to make it more competitive. Sadly by the end of 2002 Rob decided to ditch the Sunbeam project and embark on something more up-to date.
We
all await the launch of the NEW TEAM KENNY CAR of 2004.
Due to work commitments Rob is working with our forces in Iraq. He intends to be out competing on this years National Tarmac Championship. Sadly due to some parts not arriving in time Rob was unable to compete on the 1st round on Epynt even though he flew home from Iraq.
The new car is being built by leading South West Rally Preparation Company SUPREME MOTORSPORT.
